Doing shows all day long - day in and day out. What fun it is until you see the time and patience put into our choreography.
What fun it is to sleep in hotels all over until you see the hassles by hotel owners and food we eat.
Now I'm not saying it's all bad, don't let me make it sound sour. It's just with all the good and fun we have, there is an equal amount of bad times and trouble.
I'm not what most people in the skate community would call PRO, but technically I am because I do get paid to skate.
While all these name people get to fly to comps and get paid to endorse products, we drive from city to city, set up our ramps and skate 6 shows a day.
But you know what? I wouldn't trade this for the world. I love my job and just recently I've been hooked up with flow from some big companys in the industry.
Our message got out to one more future great performer. Well, you know that's worth it. Or when you make one good friend in a city where you're doing a show, that makes it all worth it.
SOoo to all you out there who want to be PRO and in the magazines and videos, I say - you can have it!
I'll just be out there trying to reach just one kid a day and The Life of a Traveling Show Skater

The one thing that makes the shows we do worth it is when you've reached that one kid out there. It's that one in the stands or standing watching you skate in between shows and they come up and say you skated great.
Thanks Andrew - very cool!
